Community Involvement

Kevin Kaveney and his colleagues at Northwestern Mutual - Colorado Springs enjoy supporting the following organizations:

C.A.S.A.
If you would like to help, please visit CASA's web site.

Since 1989, CASA (court appointed special advocates) of the Pikes Peak Region, has been recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers who advocate for children in the 4th Judicial District (El Paso and Teller Counties). CASA’s goal is to ensure safety and permanency for children whose lives are in turmoil.

CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to be a voice for these children in court and in the community. The desired result is that children are placed into safe, loving homes where they can thrive.

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region
If you would like to help, please visit The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region's web site.

Founded in 1949, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region is a private, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to the care and protection of domesticated animals in our community. The Humane Society rescues and cares for animals in distress, re-unites lost pets with their owners, finds loving permanent homes for homeless animals, teaches people how to properly care for and respect animals as well as enforces licensing and other animal ordinances.

Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days - Girls of the West
If you would like to participate, please visit the PPOBR website.

The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is one of the nation’s premier Rodeo Competitions sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). During the event, Colorado Springs is the focal point for World Champions and rising stars in their quest for the World Championship title. Since 1946, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Days has donated proceeds to charitable programs and services benefiting local military personnel and their families.
